Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward, requiring a few standard tools to connect the metal poles to the base and secure the backboard. It is highly recommended to fill the base with sand for maximum stability, though water can be used for easier seasonal drainage. Ensure the unit is placed on a level, solid surface near the pool to prevent tipping. To maintain the system, periodically inspect the bolts and screws for rust or loosening due to moisture exposure. Wipe down the metal poles with fresh water occasionally to remove pool chemical residue, and store the balls inside the base or a dry location when not in use to extend the life of the materials.
