Ensure the lid is fully and securely screwed on. Pre-heat or pre-chill the bottle with hot or cold water for a few minutes before filling to maximize thermal performance. Make sure the double-wall vacuum seal is intact; if the exterior feels warm when it should be cold (or vice-versa), the insulation may be compromised.

Check for any debris or residue around the lid threads. Gently wash the lid and bottle threads with warm, soapy water and ensure they are completely dry before reassembling. Do not force the lid; if it remains stiff, contact customer support.

Verify that the spill-proof cap mechanism is properly engaged and that the lid is tightly sealed onto the bottle. Inspect the gasket or seal within the lid for any damage or debris. Ensure the bottle is not overfilled beyond the indicated fill line.
