FAQs

Does the bed come with a mattress?

No, this product includes the bed frame only. You will need to provide a 135x190cm double mattress.

Is the assembly difficult?

Assembly requires basic tools and is best completed by two people. The hydraulic mechanism requires careful attention during installation.

How do I clean the velvet upholstery?

Use a soft brush to remove dust and a clean, dry cloth to blot liquid spills. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners.

Can the bed be used on hardwood floors?

Yes, but it is recommended to use felt pads under the feet to prevent potential scratching of your flooring.

How much weight can the storage area hold?

The storage area is designed for household items like bedding and clothing; avoid overloading it with extremely heavy, dense objects.

What is the headboard height?

The headboard is designed for both style and comfort, providing enough height for back support while remaining proportional to standard bedroom ceilings.

Troubleshooting

Hydraulic lift feels stiff or won't stay open

Ensure the mattress is placed on the bed frame, as the weight of the mattress is required to balance the tension of the gas struts.

Bed frame feels wobbly

Check that all bolts and screws are tightened securely. Ensure the feet are level on the floor surface.

Slats are popping out of place

Verify that all plastic slat caps are properly seated into the frame and that no slats are cracked or damaged.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The bed arrives flat-packed and requires two people for efficient assembly. Ensure you have adequate floor space to lay out the components before starting. Follow the included instructions carefully, specifically when attaching the hydraulic struts to ensure the lift mechanism operates correctly.

Compatibility: This model is designed for a standard 4Ft6 double mattress, measuring 135x190cm.

Care: To keep the velvet looking its best, vacuum the headboard regularly with a soft brush attachment to remove dust. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub the fabric. Avoid placing the bed in direct, prolonged sunlight to prevent color fading.
