No, the jacket features a water-repellent finish, which means it will repel light showers and moisture. It is not designed to be fully waterproof for heavy or prolonged rain.
It is ideal for a range of outdoor adventures including hiking, walking, trekking, casual cycling, and general outdoor use where lightweight warmth and freedom of movement are important.
Warmloft is Regatta's synthetic insulation designed to provide warmth without significant bulk. It's lightweight, soft, and offers good thermal properties even when damp.
Extol Stretch panels are flexible, stretchy fabric inserts strategically placed in areas like the sides or arms to enhance freedom of movement and allow for unrestricted activity.
Yes, the jacket includes practical zipped pockets, providing secure storage for your essentials while you're active.
Always refer to the specific care label inside your jacket for detailed instructions. Generally, similar jackets require machine washing in cold water on a gentle cycle, avoiding bleach, and tumble drying on low heat or line drying. Do not iron or dry clean.
Ensure you have the correct size. The Extol Stretch panels are designed for flexibility, but if the main body is too small, it may still feel tight. Consider sizing up if between sizes or if planning to layer heavily underneath.
The jacket has a water-repellent finish, not a waterproof membrane. It's designed for light showers. If it's soaking through quickly in light rain, the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment might need revitalizing. Follow care label instructions and consider using a DWR re-proof spray designed for technical outerwear after washing.
The Warmloft insulation provides warmth without bulk. For colder conditions, ensure you are layering appropriately underneath the jacket. It is designed as a mid-layer or for milder outer conditions. Add a base layer and/or a fleece for increased thermal performance.
This jacket requires no setup and is ready to wear straight out of the packaging. It's highly compatible with a range of outdoor activities such as hiking, trekking, walking, cycling, and general casual outdoor wear. It performs best as a mid-layer in colder conditions or as an outer layer in cool, dry, or lightly showery weather.
