Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Fisk Hiking Shoes last, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Wear them for a few short walks before embarking on a long-distance hike to allow the moulded footbed to fully contour to your feet.
- Cleaning: Remove dried mud with a soft-bristled brush after each hike. Use a damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt.
- Drying: Always air-dry at room temperature. Never place these shoes on a radiator or near a direct heat source, as this can warp the materials and damage the rubber outsole.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the upper materials from fading or becoming brittle.
