FAQs

Is the jacket waterproof?

The polyester shell is designed to be durable and wind-resistant, suitable for cold conditions, but it is not explicitly rated as fully waterproof.

Can I remove the hood?

No, the hood and the faux-fur trim are permanently attached to the design.

What is the material composition?

The exterior shell is made of durable woven polyester, and the interior uses high-loft synthetic insulation.

How should I wash the jacket?

The jacket is machine washable. We recommend a gentle cycle with cool water and air drying to protect the material and insulation.

Does this jacket fit true to size?

Yes, it is designed to fit standard sizes. If you plan on wearing heavy layers beneath it, you may prefer a slightly larger size.

Troubleshooting

Zipper feels stiff or stuck

Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and gently clean any debris from the zipper track.

Faux-fur trim looks flattened

Gently shake the hood or use a clean, soft-bristled brush to fluff the synthetic fibers.

Material shows minor creasing

Allow the jacket to hang in a warm, dry area; the weight of the polyester will help release natural creases.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent heat retention for cold climates
Multiple secure zippered storage pockets
Durable, long-lasting polyester shell construction
Ribbed cuffs provide a snug fit against wind
Versatile design suitable for urban or casual winter settings

Cons

Faux-fur trim is not removable
Synthetic material may not be as breathable as down
Heavier weight due to dense insulation

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your jacket, adhere to the following care guidelines:

Cleaning: This garment is machine washable. Use a gentle cycle with cold water to maintain the structural integrity of the polyester shell.
Drying: Air dry the jacket whenever possible to prevent the synthetic fill from clumping or degrading. Avoid high-heat tumble drying.
Storage: Hang the parka on a sturdy, padded coat hanger when not in use to maintain the shape of the shoulders and hood.
Compatibility: The jacket is true-to-size. For layering underneath, consider sizing up if you prefer a loose fit over thick sweaters or mid-layers.
