The Regatta Thornridge Insulated Jacket is an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts and commuters seeking reliable weather protection during colder months. This jacket balances thermal performance with breathable waterproofing, making it suitable for wet-weather hiking or daily urban transit; however, its heavy insulation may feel too warm for high-intensity aerobic activities in mild temperatures.

The jacket features multiple zipped pockets for storage, though configuration may vary; check the internal lining for additional security pockets.
The jacket provides significant warmth, but for extreme cold, it is recommended to add additional mid-layers, such as a fleece or lightweight down layer.
ISOTEX 15000 is a waterproof rating, meaning the fabric can withstand a water column of 15,000mm, offering high-level protection against heavy rain.
Yes, the Thornridge jacket utilizes recycled Thermoguard insulation as part of Regatta's commitment to more sustainable outdoor gear.
The DWR coating has likely worn off; wash the garment and apply a re-proofing spray designed for technical waterproof fabrics.
Ensure you are layering appropriately; use moisture-wicking base layers rather than cotton to allow the ISOTEX membrane to breathe effectively.
To ensure the longevity of your jacket, always follow the garment's internal care label. Use a specialized technical wash detergent for polyester waterproof shells, as standard laundry detergents can degrade the waterproof coating. Avoid fabric softeners. If the jacket loses its ability to 'bead' water, consider reapplying a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) spray after cleaning. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and ensure the garment is completely dry before folding it for long-term storage.
