Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack: Remove the boots from their packaging.
- Lace Up: Fully unlace the boots to comfortably insert the foot.
- Wear Socks: Always wear appropriate football socks for cushioning and to prevent friction.
- Insert Foot: Slide the foot into the boot, ensuring the heel is firmly seated.
- Tighten Laces: Starting from the bottom eyelets, progressively tighten the laces. Ensure they are snug but not uncomfortably tight, providing a secure fit without restricting circulation. Double-knot for extra security during play.
- Walk Around: Take a few steps to ensure comfort and check the fit. There should be a small gap at the toe, but the foot should not slide forward.
Compatibility
- Pitch Type: These boots are exclusively designed for firm ground (FG), meaning natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp.
- Avoid: Not recommended for artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or very hard ground (HG) surfaces, as this can damage the studs and reduce performance.
- Age Group: Specifically sized for children/junior players.
Care
- After Each Use: Knock off any excess mud or grass from the sole.
- Cleaning:
- Wipe the synthetic upper with a damp cloth to remove dirt. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush.
- Rinse the sole under running water, removing debris from between the studs.
- Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources (like radiators), which can damage the materials. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing in a sealed bag where moisture can build up.
- Inspection: Regularly check laces for wear and studs for damage. Replace laces if frayed.
