The nylon shell provides protection against light rain, but it is not a fully waterproof rain jacket.
Yes, but always check the internal care label for specific temperature settings and use a gentle cycle.
Store it hanging in a cool, dry place inside a breathable garment bag; avoid plastic bags which can trap moisture.
No, this model features a fixed hood for added warmth and structural integrity.
Dryer balls help prevent the down from clumping together, ensuring the jacket regains its original puffiness.
This is common with high-quality down; pull the feather back into the jacket from the inside rather than pulling it out.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the track and rub the teeth with a graphite pencil to lubricate them.
Tumble dry on low heat with dryer balls to break up clumps of down and redistribute the fill.
This garment does not require special setup; simply ensure the fit allows for a base layer underneath. To maintain the integrity of the down insulation and the nylon finish, adhere to the following care instructions: Always zip up the jacket before placing it in the wash to prevent damage. Use a gentle cycle with a mild detergent, preferably one formulated for down products. Avoid fabric softeners as they can strip the water-resistant properties of the nylon. When drying, use a low heat setting with tennis balls or dryer balls to help fluff the down and restore loft.
