The Korda Subline Ultra Tough Sinking Mono in brown is designed specifically for carp anglers who demand extreme durability and reliable sinking performance in challenging environments. It is ideal for fishing around heavy weeds, sharp snags, or abrasive gravel pits where standard lines might fail. While its high-density material ensures it stays submerged effectively, users should be aware that it feels different than standard monofilament, requiring a bit of extra care when spooling to maintain its supple characteristics.

Yes, its supple nature allows it to cast well, provided the reel is filled correctly and the rod guides are clean.
The brown color is designed to blend in with dark, silted, or gravel-heavy lake beds, making it ideal for most natural venues.
Absolutely; that is exactly what this line was engineered for, offering high abrasion resistance against snags.
Even with durable line, check for nicks or abrasions after every trip. Replace if you see visible signs of surface damage.
Yes, the dense material is designed to sink effectively on its own, though backleads can always be used for additional pinning.
Ensure the line is being pulled off the bulk spool in the same direction it is being wound onto the reel spool.
Check the temperature of the storage environment and ensure the line was not wound under excessive, uneven tension.
To achieve the best results, wind the line onto your reel under consistent, firm tension to prevent the line from burying into itself on the spool. When tying knots, ensure you wet the line thoroughly to prevent friction heat from damaging the mono's integrity. For storage, keep your spare spools out of direct, prolonged sunlight to prevent premature UV degradation of the polymer. When cleaning, simply wipe the line with a damp cloth after each session to remove lake debris and silt.
