FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for outdoor court use?
While the ANTA Shock Wave trainers are durable, they are optimized for indoor court performance; consistent outdoor use on concrete may wear the outsole tread faster.
What does nitrogen technology do?
The nitrogen-infused midsole provides lightweight cushioning that is more responsive and durable than traditional foam, helping with shock absorption.
How do I ensure I get the right size?
These trainers are sold in UK sizes. Compare your current athletic footwear size in UK measurements to ensure a proper fit.
Are the insoles removable?
Yes, the insoles can be removed to accommodate custom orthotics if required.
Can I wash these in a washing machine?
No, machine washing can damage the structural integrity and the nitrogen-infused cushioning system. Hand cleaning is recommended.
Troubleshooting
Foot feels unstable inside the shoe
Ensure the laces are securely tightened using the lockdown eyelets and check that you are wearing the correct size for your foot width.
Excessive dirt building up on the outsole
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove accumulated dust from the treads to restore maximum court grip.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your ANTA Shock Wave trainers maintain their performance, follow these care guidelines:
- Sizing: These shoes are available in UK sizing. We recommend checking the internal label to verify your fit, as the athletic design is meant to be snug.
- Break-in Period: While comfortable out of the box, wear them during shorter practice sessions to allow the nitrogen-infused midsole to contour to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the synthetic upper with a soft, damp cloth after each use to remove dust and court debris. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh detergents.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can degrade the cushioning materials over time.
- Replacement: If you notice the tread pattern on the outsole smoothing out or the midsole losing its bounce, it is time to replace the pair to prevent injury.
