Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: As with any performance bicycle, professional assembly by a qualified bike mechanic is highly recommended to ensure all components are correctly installed and torqued. This includes precise adjustment of the SRAM Apex AXS drivetrain and bleeding of the hydraulic disc brakes.
Compatibility: The bike is designed to accommodate tires up to 50mm in width. Ensure any aftermarket wheels or components are compatible with gravel bike standards, including Boost or standard thru-axle spacing as applicable.
Care: Regularly clean the frame and drivetrain. Inspect the carbon frame for any signs of damage, especially after impacts. The Future Shock system requires periodic maintenance as outlined in the official Specialized service manual. The SRAM Apex AXS system requires charging of the derailleur batteries. Consult the SRAM AXS app for battery status and firmware updates.
