The Micro Reps fabric is designed to be highly wind-resistant and durable, but it is not classified as a fully waterproof raincoat.
No, it is highly recommended to air dry the coat on a hanger to protect the integrity of the technical polyester.
Keep the patch in a clean, dust-free container when not attached to the sleeve to prevent the embroidered edges from fraying.
It allows you to open the bottom of the coat for better leg mobility while keeping the upper chest area secured against the wind.
Stone Island sizing can be unique; it is recommended to consult a size guide or compare measurements with a coat you currently own that fits well.
Use a professional garment steamer on a low setting; avoid direct contact with an iron which may damage the technical fibers.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the track, then apply a tiny amount of clear wax or graphite to the teeth to improve movement.
Check the internal backing of the buttons regularly and tighten the stitching if you notice any slack.
To ensure your Stone Island coat remains in top condition, always detach the signature compass patch before cleaning. The garment should ideally be professionally cleaned or washed according to the interior care label, which typically specifies low-temperature cycles. Store the coat on a wide-shouldered hanger to maintain the shape of the shoulders and collar. When not in use, keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent potential color fading or fabric degradation over time.
