Yes, the outer shell material is chosen for durability and color fastness in urban environments.
Please check the internal lining of your specific unit for discreet pocket placements common in the Arctic Army range.
Follow the garment's internal care tag, but professional dry cleaning is often the safest method for high-performance puffer jackets.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and gently rub a graphite pencil tip along the zipper teeth to act as a dry lubricant.
Gently shake the jacket and pat the panels to help redistribute the insulation, then hang it in an open space for 24 hours.
To keep your jacket in peak condition, always check the internal care label for specific washing instructions. Generally, professional cleaning or gentle machine washing on a delicate cycle with cold water is recommended to preserve the integrity of the insulation. Avoid using harsh chemical detergents or fabric softeners. When not in use, store the jacket on a broad-shouldered hanger to maintain its structural shape, and avoid compressing it into tight storage bags for long periods to ensure the loft of the insulation remains consistent.
