FAQs

Can the Donkey 6 be used as a double stroller immediately?

Yes, it is designed to convert to a side-by-side double, though you would need to purchase an additional seat or bassinet unit to accommodate two children.

Are the fabrics machine washable?

The seat and bassinet fabrics are generally removable and washable, but please refer to the specific care tag on your unit for temperature and cycle settings.

Does the stroller fit through standard doors?

Yes, even in the double configuration, the Donkey 6 is engineered to be narrow enough to pass through standard-sized doorways.

Is the footmuff suitable for all seasons?

The included footmuff is designed to be breathable to help regulate temperature, making it suitable for varying weather conditions.

What is the weight capacity of the underseat basket?

The underseat basket is designed to support a significant amount of gear, but always refer to your manual for the exact weight limit to avoid damaging the frame.

Troubleshooting

Stroller feels stiff to fold or unfold.

Check the hinge points for dirt or grit; apply a light silicone-based lubricant to the joints if necessary.

Difficulties in steering.

Verify that the front swivel wheels are unlocked and that the tire pressure is balanced across all wheels.

Conversion mechanism feels sticky.

Ensure the chassis is fully extended or collapsed; check for obstructions in the frame release buttons.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To assemble the pushchair, ensure the chassis clicks firmly into the desired mode before attaching the seat or bassinet. Regularly check that the wheel quick-release mechanisms are free of debris to maintain easy rolling. For cleaning, the organic cotton bassinet liners should be removed and washed according to the care label, typically in cold water on a delicate cycle. The stroller fabric can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure the pushchair is completely dry before folding for long-term storage to prevent mildew buildup.
