Isotex 15000 is Regatta's own waterproof and breathable fabric technology. The '15000' refers to its hydrostatic head rating (15,000mm), indicating its waterproofness, and its breathability rating (15,000 g/m²/24 hours), indicating how well it allows moisture vapor to escape.

The Isotex 15000 fabric with taped seams offers reliable protection for moderate to heavy rain. For extreme downpours or extended periods in very heavy rain, a jacket with a higher waterproof rating might be considered, but this jacket is highly capable for everyday wet weather.

The fit can be adjusted using the drawcords. There is a drawstring at the hood for a snugger fit around your face and another drawstring inside the waistband to adjust the jacket's circumference for a more tailored silhouette.

This jacket is primarily designed for waterproofing and wind resistance. For colder weather, it can be layered over a warm mid-layer, such as a fleece or insulated jacket, to provide warmth.

The jacket features a combination of linings for comfort: a soft jersey lining (130 gsm) in the main body and hood, and a smooth polyester taffeta lining (60 gsm) elsewhere.

Machine wash at 30°C with a mild liquid detergent, rinse thoroughly, and tumble dry on low heat or hang dry. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and powder detergents. Periodically re-apply a DWR finish to maintain water repellency.

The fabric has a breathability rating of 15,000 g/m²/24 hours, which means it allows a significant amount of moisture vapor to escape, helping to keep you comfortable during physical activity.

The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish has likely worn off. Re-apply a DWR treatment following the product's instructions.

This could be due to reduced breathability. Ensure the jacket is clean, as dirt and oils can clog the pores. Consider washing with a technical fabric cleaner and re-applying a DWR finish.

Clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth and a small brush. Apply a wax-based lubricant (like paraffin wax or a zipper lubricant) to the teeth.

Check if the cord locks are functioning correctly. Ensure the drawcords are not tangled or frayed. If damaged, they may need replacement.
