Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Utilize the traditional lace fastening to achieve a secure and comfortable fit. Start from the bottom eyelets and pull the laces firmly but not overly tight, gradually working your way up. Ensure the Compression Fit Tunnel Tongue is comfortably positioned over your instep.
- Break-in Period: Like all new football boots, the F50 Pro may benefit from a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or walks before competitive matches to allow the upper to adapt to your foot shape.
- Sock Choice: Wear the type of football socks you'll typically use for games to ensure the best fit and comfort during break-in.
Compatibility
- Pitch Type: These boots are exclusively designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This includes natural grass fields that are dry, firm, and have a short to medium cut.
- Avoid: Do not use these boots on artificial grass (AG), astro turf (TF), or soft/wet grass (SG) pitches. Using them on unsuitable surfaces can damage the studs, compromise your grip, and potentially void any warranty.
Product Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your F50 Pro boots:
- Cleaning After Use: Immediately after each use, remove any loose dirt, mud, or grass from the upper and outsole using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Washing: For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water and a mild soap. Gently scrub the entire boot. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Drying: Stuff the boots with newspaper or paper towels to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators), which can cause the material to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can protect them from scratches and keep them separate from other gear. Avoid leaving them in a damp sports bag.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, sprinkle a small amount of baking soda inside the boots and leave overnight, then tap out the excess. Boot deodorizers are also effective.
