A versatile heavy duty coach screw with a hex flange head, serving as a modern replacement for traditional DIN 571 coach screws. It features an aggressive slash point tip for easy driving and reduced splitting, making it suitable for softwood, hardwood, man-made board, or masonry (with a nylon plug). The screw is zinc plated and yellow passivated for enhanced corrosion resistance. Application includes framing, landscaping, decking, fencing, stairs, roofing, gazebos, pergolas, and sleepers. Complies with BS EN 14592:2008. Corrosion rating is 2 for occasionally damp/wet, rural, and sheltered areas. Specifications include a hex flange head, socket driver included, carbon steel material, and a single coarse thread type.
