The Nike Pegasus Trail 5 is designed for male trail runners who navigate technical dirt roads and occasional short stretches of asphalt. Its primary advantage lies in its superior breathability and stable multi-directional grip on varied terrain. While highly versatile for mixed routes, it's primarily optimized for off-road performance and may not offer the same cushioned experience as a dedicated road shoe.

These shoes are best suited for technical dirt roads and short stretches of asphalt, making them ideal for mixed-terrain trail running.
No, the engineered technical mesh upper is designed for breathability and moisture evaporation, not waterproofing. While they can handle light splashes, they are not intended for submersion or heavy rain.
The multi-directional studded sole is engineered to provide enhanced stability and reliable grip across varied uneven surfaces, improving your confidence on technical trails.
While capable on short asphalt stretches, the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 is optimized for trail performance. For extensive or exclusive road running, a dedicated road running shoe would generally offer better cushioning and wear properties.
Remove loose dirt with a brush. Hand wash with mild soap and cold water, avoiding harsh detergents. Air dry completely at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight.
The engineered technical mesh upper significantly enhances breathability, allowing air to circulate and moisture to evaporate easily, keeping your feet comfortable and dry during your runs.
Adjust your lacing technique. Try tightening the laces more evenly, focusing on the midfoot. Experiment with a 'runner's loop' using the top eyelets for better ankle and heel lockdown. Ensure you're wearing appropriate running socks that prevent internal friction.
While the studded sole provides multi-directional stability on dirt, extreme wet or muddy conditions can challenge any shoe's grip. Exercise increased caution and reduce speed on such surfaces. The shoe is optimized for technical dirt roads, not extreme mud or slippery rock.
Remove insoles after each run and allow both shoes and insoles to air dry completely. Ensure shoes are stored in a well-ventilated area. If odor persists, use a shoe deodorizer spray or place sachets of baking soda inside the shoes overnight.
