Setup, Compatibility & Care
To get the most from your OLight Warrior 3S, follow these guidelines for initial setup, understanding its compatibility, and maintaining its performance.
Setup
- Initial Charge: Before first use, ensure the included 5000mAh 21700 battery is fully charged. Insert the battery with the positive (+) end towards the head of the flashlight.
- Magnetic Charging: Connect the MCC3 USB magnetic charging cable to a powered USB source. Attach the magnetic end of the cable to the tail cap of the flashlight. The indicator on the charging cable will show red while charging and green when fully charged. Expect a full charge to take several hours.
- Operation: Press the side switch to turn the flashlight on/off and cycle through brightness modes. Use the dual-stage tail switch for momentary or constant Turbo/Strobe modes for tactical applications.
Compatibility
- Battery: The Warrior 3S is designed for optimal performance with its custom 3.6V 5000mAh 21700 lithium-ion battery. While other 21700 batteries may fit, performance and safety cannot be guaranteed.
- Charging: Use only the provided OLight MCC3 USB magnetic charging cable for safe and efficient charging.
- Remote Switch: The tail cap is specifically designed to be compatible with the optional OLight dual-button magnetic remote switch, expanding its functionality for WML (Weapon Mounted Light) use. This accessory is sold separately.
Care
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe down the body of the flashlight with a clean, damp cloth. Keep the lens and magnetic charging contacts free of dirt and debris to ensure optimal performance and charging efficiency. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Battery Maintenance: Recharge the battery regularly, even if not fully depleted, to prolong its lifespan. Store the flashlight with a partially charged battery if not in use for extended periods.
- Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Thread Lubrication: Occasionally apply a small amount of silicone grease to the tail cap threads and O-rings to maintain water resistance and smooth operation.
