The jacket features a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish, which means it can shed light rain and moisture. It is not fully waterproof and may not withstand prolonged exposure to heavy rain.
The jacket uses WARMLOFT insulation, which is made from 100% recycled materials.
You can machine wash the jacket at 30°C with similar colors. Avoid bleach, ironing, and dry cleaning. Tumble dry on a low heat setting or air dry.
These inserts are made of a stretchy fabric and are placed in key areas to allow for greater freedom of movement, making the jacket comfortable for active play.
Yes, the jacket features an integrated hood for added protection against the elements.
The jacket provides lightweight insulation (120 g/m²) and is best suited for moderate to cool weather. For very cold conditions, it may be best used as a mid-layer.
This jacket is designed for kids, with features and sizing appropriate for children.
Yes, after washing, you can reactivate the DWR finish by tumble drying on low heat. For longer-lasting or restored repellency, consider using a specific DWR treatment spray or wash-in product.
The durable water-repellent (DWR) finish may need to be reactivated or reapplied. Try tumble drying on a low heat setting for 20 minutes after washing. If this doesn't help, consider using a spray-on or wash-in DWR treatment, following the product's instructions.
Ensure the jacket is zipped up fully and the hood and cuffs are adjusted snugly. The insulation works best when trapped air is minimized. Check that the DWR finish is intact, as a saturated outer layer can reduce the insulation's effectiveness.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to free the fabric. If the zipper is dry, a small amount of graphite from a pencil lead or a tiny bit of wax can help lubricate it. Avoid forcing the zipper.
Ensure the correct size has been selected. The EXTOL STRETCH inserts are designed to provide flexibility; check that they are not being overly compressed by a size that is too small. The jacket is designed to be lightweight, so bulk should be minimal.
Setup: This jacket requires no assembly. It is ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
Compatibility: Designed for children's outdoor wear, suitable for various weather conditions from cool to moderately cold.
