FAQs

What type of paste should I use?

Use a paste specifically designed for 'paste the paper' wallpaper. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing and application.

How do I calculate how many rolls I need?

Measure the height and width of your walls and calculate the total wall area. Then, factor in the pattern repeat and any waste to determine the number of rolls needed. It's always best to have a little extra.

Can I use this wallpaper in a bathroom?

While the vinyl substrate is durable, it's best to avoid direct contact with water. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent moisture build-up.

How do I remove the wallpaper?

The wallpaper is strippable. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for removal, which may involve soaking with water or a wallpaper removal solution.

What is the pattern repeat?

The pattern repeat is 64/32 cm (25¼/12½ in), indicating the distance at which the pattern repeats vertically and the drop needed for pattern matching.

Is this wallpaper washable?

Yes, it is wipeable with a damp cloth, making it easy to clean and maintain.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty matching the pattern.

Double-check the pattern repeat and drop measurements. Take your time to align the pattern correctly before applying the wallpaper to the wall. Consider using a laser level to ensure vertical alignment.

Air bubbles under the wallpaper.

Use a smoothing brush to gently push out air bubbles from the center of the wallpaper to the edges. For stubborn bubbles, carefully prick them with a pin and smooth them down.

Wallpaper not sticking to the wall.

Ensure you are using the correct paste for the paper type and that the wall surface is properly prepared (clean, dry, and primed if necessary). Allow sufficient drying time.
