FAQs
Are these trainers suitable for sports?
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Mov Trainers are designed for casual, everyday wear and do not provide the specialized support required for intense athletic activities.
How do I determine my size?
Refer to the sizing chart provided by Converse or the retailer. Measure your foot length and compare it to the UK sizing guide available for these trainers.
Can I wash these trainers in a washing machine?
It is not recommended to machine wash canvas trainers as it can damage the material, adhesives, and shape. Hand cleaning is the preferred method.
Are these trainers waterproof?
No, the canvas upper is not waterproof. They are best suited for dry or mildly damp conditions. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain.
What is the material of the upper?
The upper is made from cotton canvas, providing a breathable and lightweight feel.
How durable is the rubber toe cap?
The rubber toe cap is designed to add durability to a high-wear area, offering protection against scuffs and extending the lifespan of the shoe in that section.
What is the main difference between these and other Chuck Taylors?
The 'Mov' series often incorporates design updates or material variations while maintaining the core Chuck Taylor aesthetic. This model specifically highlights enhanced ankle support and a streamlined look.
Troubleshooting
Discomfort or rubbing on the ankle
Ensure laces are correctly tied and not too tight. Break in the shoes by wearing them for short periods initially.
Canvas appearing dirty or stained
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For stubborn stains, consider a specialized canvas cleaner, following product instructions.
Soles feeling slippery
Ensure the rubber soles are clean. For increased grip on smooth surfaces, consider adding traction aids if needed, though this is generally not required for intended use.
