Is the frame rust-resistant?
Yes, the frame is made of high-gauge steel intended for household environments, though it should be kept away from direct standing water.
Does the hamper fold down for storage?

Troubleshooting
Bag appears loose on the frame
Ensure that the bag handles are properly seated into the frame hooks and that the fabric is pulled evenly across all corners.
Odor lingering in the bag
Remove the bag from the frame and machine wash on a cold cycle. Ensure the bag is completely air-dried before reattaching it to the frame.
Frame feels slightly wobbly
Check that the cross-section of the X-frame is fully extended and sitting on a level surface.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the hamper involves unfolding the steel frame until it locks into its stable X-shape. The bag features tabs or loops that secure it to the top of the frame for a snug fit.
Care Instructions:
- Frame Maintenance: Wipe the steel frame periodically with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or lint.
- Bag Cleaning: To clean the bag, detach it from the frame handles. Machine wash in cold water using a gentle cycle. Air drying is recommended to maintain the integrity of the odor-resistant coating.
- Compatibility: This model is designed for single-load capacity. If your household requires greater volume, consider the Simplehuman double-frame variations.
