Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Pallarider Lo GTX, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Wear them around the house for a few hours before taking them on a long hike to allow the leather to mold to your foot.
- Cleaning: Wipe away mud and dirt with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging the leather in water as this can damage the finish.
- Maintenance: Periodically apply a leather conditioner to prevent cracking and re-apply a waterproof spray specifically designed for Gore-Tex materials to maintain the outer surface's repellency.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to keep the leather and glue joints in optimal condition.
