Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced up securely, but not uncomfortably tight. The full lace fastening allows for a personalized fit. Experiment with different lacing techniques to find what provides the best support and comfort for your foot shape.
- Break-in: As with most new boots, particularly those with a `tighter fit`, a short break-in period is recommended. Wear them for light training sessions before a full match to allow the synthetic upper and neoprene collar to mold to your foot.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for soft or damp natural turf. They are unisex and intended for adult players. The *6 conical metal studs* make them unsuitable for artificial grass (AG) or hard ground (HG) pitches, where they could damage the playing surface or cause injury due to excessive grip.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, wipe the boots clean with a damp cloth to remove dirt and mud. Pay attention to the studs and the soleplate. Do not machine wash.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials and glues.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing with newspaper to help maintain their shape.
- Stud Maintenance: Regularly check that studs are tight and replace any worn or damaged studs to maintain optimal traction and safety.
