FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for long-distance running?
The Karrimor Duma 6 is designed for entry-level running and general athletic use. For serious long-distance training, more advanced shoes with specialized support and cushioning might be necessary.
How do I know if I've chosen the right size?
Ensure there is a small amount of space (about a thumb's width) between the longest toe and the front of the shoe when the child is standing. The heel should feel snug, not slipping.
Can these shoes be worn for school?
Yes, the Karrimor Duma 6 trainers are suitable for casual wear and school activities due to their comfort and secure fit.
What is the primary benefit of the phylon midsole?
The phylon midsole provides lightweight cushioning and helps absorb impact during movement, contributing to overall comfort.
How durable is the knitted upper?
The seamless knitted upper is designed to be strong and durable, offering a comfortable and long-lasting fit for active children.
What if the shoes get wet?
If the shoes get wet, remove them and allow them to air dry completely at room temperature. Avoid using direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight
Ensure the hook and loop straps are not overtightened. Check if the correct size has been selected. Allow for a short break-in period.
Traction seems poor
Clean any mud or debris from the rubber outsole pods. Ensure the running surface is suitable for the shoe's tread.
Discomfort during activity
Verify the shoes are securely fastened but not constricting. Ensure the socks worn are appropriate and fit well. Consider if the activity exceeds the shoe's intended use.
