Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation involves securing the clamp feet to the vehicle's door frame or roof channel. Since the EV6 lacks factory rails, ensure the clamp pads are centered to protect the car's paintwork. Periodically check the tension of the clamps after the first 50 miles of driving to ensure they haven't shifted. To maintain the finish, wash the bars with mild soap and water, avoiding abrasive chemicals that might strip the corrosion-resistant coating. If you notice any salt residue from winter roads, rinse them thoroughly to prevent oxidation.
