The MT500 Burner Flat Shoe is the ultimate tech flat pedal mountain bike shoe, merging high-performance materials and technologies previously reserved for clipless footwear. Engineered for supportive EGM Insole and Reinforced Construction, it uses low-absorbency, wipe-clean materials for excellent durability. The design supports the foot and withstands abuse, with reinforced toe and heel boxes for added protection. An EVA midsole provides crucial shock absorption for challenging rides. The shoe features Endura's proprietary StickyFoot Grip rubber compound in the pedal area, ensuring your feet stay firmly planted on the pedals by deforming around pedal pins for optimal control. The toe and heel tread are designed for excellent walking traction when you need to hike. Key Features include highly durable upper fabrics with perforated panels for ventilation, a low-absorbency quick-dry lining, an EGM footbed for comfort and power transfer, StickyFoot Grip contact areas for pedal connection, and StickyFoot Dura in the toe and heel for walking grip and durability. The flex profile balances stiffness and flexibility for power transfer and control, while traditional laces and an additional Velcro strap secure your feet. A tongue gaiter helps keep mud and dirt out, and a Sharkskin fabric lined heel cup prevents foot slippage. Reinforced toe and heel boxes protect against trail debris.
