A heat only boiler, also known as a conventional or regular boiler, only provides central heating. To get hot water for taps and showers, it needs to be used in conjunction with a separate hot water storage cylinder.

You can check the system pressure via the pressure gauge on the boiler's front panel. The recommended operating pressure is typically between 1 and 1.5 bar when the system is cold. Refer to your user manual for precise details.

While its compact design offers flexibility, installation must comply with all relevant building regulations and manufacturer guidelines regarding ventilation and access for servicing. Always consult a qualified installer.

The 18kW output is generally suitable for medium to large domestic properties. For very small apartments, a lower output model might be more energy-efficient. Consult with an installer to determine the correct boiler size for your needs.

Annual servicing by a Gas Safe registered engineer is highly recommended to ensure the boiler operates efficiently, safely, and to maintain its warranty.

Check the mains power supply and ensure the boiler is switched on. Verify that the thermostat is calling for heat and set to an appropriate temperature. Check the gas supply is on. If the issue persists, consult a qualified engineer.

Check system pressure is within the recommended range (refer to the user manual). Bleed radiators to remove trapped air. Ensure the boiler's filters are clean. If problems continue, a service may be required.
