FAQs

Are these slippers waterproof?

No, the Tasman II is made from leather and sheepskin, which are not waterproof. We recommend avoiding heavy rain or snow.

Can I wear these outside?

Yes, the durable EVA outsole is designed to handle outdoor surfaces like driveways or sidewalks.

Do I wear socks with these?

These are designed to be worn comfortably without socks, as the sheepskin provides excellent warmth and moisture management.

How do I ensure the correct fit?

The sheepskin may feel snug initially but will compress slightly over time to fit the shape of your foot.

How do I clean the braid collar?

Use a dry, soft brush to remove dust from the braid pattern. Do not submerge the shoe in water.

Troubleshooting

Outer leather showing water spots

Lightly dampen the entire surface of the leather with a soft cloth to even out the tone and allow to air dry naturally away from heat.

Sheepskin lining becoming matted

Use a suede or stiff nylon brush to gently comb the sheepskin lining, which helps restore the loft and comfort of the fibers.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Soft and insulating sheepskin interior
Durable, lightweight EVA outsole
Easy to slip on and off quickly

Cons

Open-heel design offers less foot stability
Leather exterior requires specific care
Not intended for heavy-duty hiking or athletic use

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Because the UGG Tasman II uses genuine leather and sheepskin, proper care is essential to maintain its longevity.

Initial Protection: We recommend using a high-quality leather protector spray before your first wear to help repel moisture and dirt.
Cleaning: Gently wipe the leather exterior with a damp cloth. For the sheepskin interior, use a soft-bristled brush to remove debris and fluff the wool fibers.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme heat sources, which can dry out and crack the leather.
Compatibility: These slippers are best paired with casual wear. Avoid getting them saturated, as water can damage the natural leather finish.
