Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation of the CGC Lighting Jennifer Outdoor Single Spot Cylinder Wall Light requires basic electrical knowledge and should ideally be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and compliance with local building codes.
- Power Disconnection: Always ensure the power supply to the intended circuit is turned off at the main breaker before beginning any electrical work.
- Mounting: Securely attach the mounting bracket to the exterior wall using appropriate hardware for your wall type.
- Wiring: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding wires from your home's electrical supply (typically black to hot, white to neutral, and green/bare to ground). Consult the product manual for specific wiring diagrams.
- Fixture Attachment: Mount the light fixture onto the bracket and secure it.
- Power Restoration: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the main breaker.
Compatibility:
This fixture is designed for standard outdoor AC electrical circuits. It is compatible with most dimmable LED bulbs, but check the product's specific bulb requirements for optimal performance and longevity. Ensure the bulb wattage does not exceed the maximum rating specified for the fixture.
Care:
To maintain the appearance and performance of your Jennifer Outdoor Wall Light:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or glass.
- Glass: Clean the clear glass diffusers periodically with a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth to ensure maximum light output.
- Inspection: Regularly check for any signs of damage or wear, especially around seals, and address any issues promptly.
