The Nike Air Max 90 is a classic trainer designed for adults seeking a blend of heritage running style and modern utility. It offers superior cushioning and a durable leather construction that stands up to daily wear, making it an excellent choice for versatile, everyday use; however, users should note that the utilitarian build and leather material may require a break-in period compared to lighter, mesh-based athletic shoes.

While based on running heritage, the modern Air Max 90 is primarily a lifestyle trainer. It is best suited for walking and casual activities rather than distance running.
Use a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water. Gently wipe the surface and allow to air dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Most users find the Air Max 90 fits true to size, but the leather construction may feel snug initially. You may consider a half-size up if you prefer a roomier fit.
The TPU components provide structural support to the shoe and act as iconic design markers of the Air Max 90 series.
Yes, the lace toggles are removable, allowing you to swap them for traditional laces if you prefer a standard aesthetic.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the mechanism and wipe away any dust or grit that may be impeding the spring-loaded action.
This is a natural characteristic of leather footwear; use shoe trees when not in use to help the shoe retain its shape.
Use a soft-bristle brush to gently dislodge trapped dirt or pebbles from between the Waffle lugs.
To ensure your Air Max 90s stay in top condition, start by ensuring you have the correct size for your foot width, as the leather material provides a structured fit that does not stretch significantly over time. For the best fit, adjust the lace toggles while wearing your preferred thickness of socks. To maintain the leather upper, use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt after use. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the leather finish. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the leather from cracking or warping. Check the Waffle outsole periodically for embedded pebbles or debris to maintain optimal traction.
