FAQs

What does 170 GSM mean?

GSM stands for Grams per Square Meter. 170 GSM indicates a medium-weight fabric that provides a balance between opacity and breathability.

Is the fit true to size?

Yes, this shirt follows a regular fit. However, because it is tailored, it will feel more structured and less loose than typical casual tees.

Can I tumble dry this t-shirt?

It is not recommended to tumble dry. Air drying is the best method to preserve the fit and material quality of 100% cotton garments.

Does the sleeve length run shorter than usual?

Yes, the product is intentionally designed with slightly shorter, more fitted sleeves to create a more refined silhouette.

What material is this shirt made of?

It is constructed from 100% long-staple cotton in a single jersey knit.

Troubleshooting

Shirt appears to have shrunk after washing

Always wash in cold water and avoid tumble drying. Use gentle pulling to reshape the garment while it is still damp.

Neckline looking slightly wavy

Avoid stretching the neck opening when pulling the shirt over your head and ensure you lay the garment flat to dry to prevent gravity-induced distortion.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-quality 170 GSM cotton fabric feels substantial and premium
Tailored fit offers a smarter look than traditional boxy t-shirts
Highly versatile for both layering and standalone wear
Durable ribbing at the neckline resists stretching

Cons

Shorter sleeve length may not suit all personal preferences
Regular fit is more structured and less forgiving than oversized styles
Cotton material requires adherence to care instructions to prevent shrinking

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To maintain the integrity of the 170 GSM cotton fabric, machine wash the garment on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colors. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as this is the primary cause of cotton shrinkage and fabric degradation. Instead, reshape the item while damp and air dry it flat on a rack. Due to the tailored fit and shorter sleeve design, ensure you consult the size guide carefully if you are transitioning from more oversized apparel brands.
