Regatta Leesville III Walking Shorts - Yellow - 32

The shorts feature a durable water-repellent finish, which is effective against light rain and showers. For prolonged heavy rainfall, waterproof trousers would be more appropriate.

The shorts have a part-elasticated waist for flexibility. It is recommended to check the size guide and consider your preferred fit, as the elastication provides some adjustability.

While lightweight and quick-drying, they are primarily designed for walking and hiking. For high-impact running, specialized running shorts might offer better features like enhanced ventilation or a more streamlined fit.

The UPF 50+ rating is inherent to the fabric's construction and does not require special care beyond standard washing instructions. Avoid using bleach, which can degrade fabric integrity.

Zipped pockets provide secure storage for essential items like keys, cash, or a mobile phone, preventing them from falling out during activity.

The quick-drying property is a characteristic of the polyester fabric. Proper care, including tumble drying on a low setting, helps ensure they dry efficiently after washing.

The durable water repellent (DWR) finish can diminish over time with washing and wear. Consider reproofing the shorts with a suitable spray designed for outdoor garments to restore this function.

Ensure the shorts are being tumble dried on a low heat setting as recommended. Overloading the dryer can also impact drying efficiency.

Ensure you are following the recommended washing and ironing instructions. Using a fabric softener is not advised as it can affect the technical properties of the fabric, including water repellency.
