Full details
The HAY Matin Flush Mount Ceiling Light, designed by Inga Sempé, offers a blend of contemporary design and delicate visual appeal with physical robustness. This ceiling lamp features a distinctive round pleated shade crafted from cotton applied to a PVC film. Inga Sempé, a Paris-based French designer, has received accolades such as the Grand Design Prize of the City of Paris and the Red Dot Design Award. Her works, including the Matin series for HAY, are known for their tactile nature, lightness, and strong personality. The frame of the Matin ceiling lamp is constructed from polished brass bent steel wire. The shade attaches closely to the ceiling, concealing the internal technology. It requires two E14 bulbs (not included) to illuminate the pleated shade and create an inviting atmosphere. Inga Sempé envisioned the Matin series to be cheerful, modern, and versatile, fitting seamlessly into various interior styles, whether in homes or commercial spaces. The Matin Flush Mount Ceiling Light is designed to be a striking focal point in any room. It provides a soft, considered aesthetic for overhead lighting, featuring a pleated cotton shade available in multiple colours, mounted to the ceiling with a subtle painted steel bracket. The design balances a light form with durable materials and uses two E14 bulbs to emit a gentle, ambient glow, making it suitable for bedrooms, hallways, or living areas. Choose your preferred shade colour and size to complement your space and enjoy a ceiling light with understated character.
