Setup, Compatibility & Care
Upon arrival, ensure your tree is planted into a high-quality, fertile, and well-drained compost. Use a large, sturdy container that provides enough room for roots to expand, ensuring there are adequate drainage holes at the base to prevent waterlogging.
Watering: Water the tree deeply to saturate the root ball, but allow the top few centimeters of compost to dry out before watering again to avoid root rot.
Feeding: During the growing season, a balanced liquid fertilizer can help sustain the tree's health and fruit production.
Winter Care: Always bring the container indoors before the first frost. Place it in the brightest available location—such as a conservatory window—to minimize leaf drop during the low-light winter period.
