Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your boots last for seasons to come, follow these guidelines:
- Getting On: Use the integrated heel pull tab to gently ease your foot into the boot. Do not yank the collar, as this can strain the seam seals over time.
- Compatibility: These boots are ideal for cold-water surfing and are compatible with all standard surfboard traction pads and wax finishes.
- Post-Session Rinse: Always rinse the boots thoroughly with fresh, cold water after every surf to remove salt and sand, which can degrade the natural rubber.
- Drying: Air dry the boots in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight or high-heat sources like radiators, as these will cause the rubber to crack and the thermal lining to lose its efficiency.
- Storage: Store flat or upright in a cool, dry place once completely dry.
