Troubleshooting

Visible seams between wallpaper strips

Ensure that the wallpaper has been allowed to soak for the appropriate time according to the paste manufacturer's instructions to prevent shrinkage after drying.

Pattern alignment is off

Double-check that you are accounting for the 26.5cm offset match when cutting your strips; ensure the pattern aligns at the seam rather than just the top edge.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Sophisticated oriental-inspired artwork
Pearlescent highlights add a premium, textured feel
Easy to maintain due to spongeable surface

Cons

Requires paste-the-paper application which is more labor-intensive
Requires careful alignment due to the 26.5cm offset pattern match
May be too bold for all four walls in small rooms

Setup, Compatibility & Care

For the best results, ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and primed before beginning. This wallpaper uses a traditional paste-the-paper installation method: apply the adhesive directly to the back of the wallpaper strip and allow it to soak for the recommended time before hanging. Because this is an offset match, ensure that the pattern aligns on the diagonal for every subsequent strip. For ongoing care, use a damp, soft sponge to gently wipe away dust or light surface marks. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbing tools, as these may damage the pearlescent finish.
