FAQs

Is the Sydnee Blouse true to size?

It is designed as an oversized fit. If you prefer a more tailored or fitted look, you may want to consider sizing down.

Can this blouse be worn in a professional setting?

Yes, the classic shirt collar and button-through design make it a great choice for smart-casual office attire.

What material is the blouse made from?

The blouse is crafted from high-quality, crisp cotton.

How should I clean the scalloped hem?

Wash on a gentle cycle to protect the delicate edge and avoid high-heat tumble drying.

Does the blouse feature a button-up front?

Yes, it includes a traditional button-through front for easy styling and adjustable closure.

Is the fabric sheer?

While crisp, it is made of quality cotton, though as with all light-colored cotton, a nude-toned undergarment is recommended for optimal coverage.

Troubleshooting

Visible wrinkles in cotton fabric

Use a handheld garment steamer to release creases without pressing directly on the broderie areas.

Sleeves feel too voluminous during daily tasks

Use the buttoned cuffs to secure the sleeves or push them up slightly to create a more controlled silhouette.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-quality cotton material for comfort and breathability
Stylish artisanal details like broderie and scalloped edging
Versatile design suitable for professional and leisure environments
Relaxed fit allows for easy movement and comfortable wear

Cons

Oversized fit may be too large for those preferring tailored cuts
Cotton material may require regular ironing to maintain a crisp look
Lightweight fabric might require layering in cooler climates

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your Sydnee Blouse looking its best, follow these care guidelines. Due to the intricate broderie detailing and delicate scalloped hem, it is recommended to wash the garment on a gentle cycle with like colors. Avoid harsh bleaching agents that could damage the embroidery. To maintain the crisp finish of the cotton fabric, iron on a medium setting while the garment is slightly damp or use a garment steamer for the best results on the blouson sleeves. When storing, hanging the blouse on a padded hanger will help preserve the shape of the voluminous sleeves and prevent unwanted creasing in the cotton.
