Product Information

Full details

The HAY Large Laundry Basket, designed by the studio BIG-GAME, is an ideal storage solution for those seeking a minimalist, functional aesthetic to organize clothes, towels, or linens. Its standout benefit is the combination of a durable, open-woven construction that allows for optimal airflow and a lightweight, stackable design that maximizes home storage space. While the recycled material is robust and easy to clean, users should note that the basket's larger physical footprint requires adequate floor space, making it better suited for laundry rooms or larger walk-in closets rather than cramped, narrow spaces.

FAQs

What are the exact dimensions of the basket?

The basket measures 57.5 cm in length, 37.5 cm in width, and 62.5 cm in height.

Is the material waterproof?

The basket is made from polypropylene, which is moisture-resistant. It is safe for damp towels and laundry environments but should not be submerged in water for extended periods.

Can I use this for outdoor storage?

While the material is durable, it is primarily designed for indoor use. Extended exposure to harsh direct sunlight may cause the plastic to become brittle over time.

Is the basket lightweight?

Yes, it is constructed from lightweight recycled plastic, making it easy to carry even when empty.

Are there other colors available?

Yes, besides Red, the basket is available in various colors including Blue, Green, and Pink.

How many baskets can be stacked?

While it is stackable, it is recommended to stack no more than two or three to ensure the stability of the tower and the safety of the base unit.
