Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure peak performance, follow these guidelines for handling and storage:
- Activation: These are zinc-air batteries. Peel off the protective brown tab and wait at least one minute before inserting it into the hearing aid; this allows air to activate the chemical reaction.
- Storage: Keep batteries in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Avoid storing them in refrigerators or high-humidity areas like bathrooms.
- Compatibility: Only use Type 312 (Brown) batteries if your device explicitly calls for this size. Check your hearing aid battery door for the corresponding color-coding.
- Maintenance: Regularly clean the battery compartment of your hearing aid with a soft, dry cloth to remove debris that could obstruct electrical contact.
