Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the rug completely upon arrival and allow it to lie flat for a few days to help remove creases. If creases persist, you can try rolling the rug in the opposite direction for a period.
Compatibility: This rug is suitable for use with underfloor heating systems. It is recommended for indoor use only.
Care:
- Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum your rug regularly (once or twice a week) to remove dust and dirt. Use a standard vacuum cleaner. For rugs with a pile, vacuum in the direction of the pile. Avoid using a vacuum with a beater bar on high pile rugs, as it can cause damage.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spills, blot the affected area immediately with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel. For more persistent stains, use a mild detergent mixed with water. Always test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area first. Blot, do not rub.
- Deep Cleaning: For a deeper clean, professional rug cleaning is recommended every 1-2 years. Avoid soaking the rug.
- Rotation: To ensure even wear, rotate your rug periodically (e.g., every six months).
