FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for trail running?

These shoes are designed primarily for road running and may not provide the necessary traction or protection for rugged trail terrain.

What is the heel-to-toe drop?

The Cloudswift 4 AD features an 8mm drop.

Can I put these shoes in the washing machine?

No, it is recommended to hand-clean the shoes with a damp cloth to protect the foam integrity and the water-repellent finish.

What kind of foam is used in the midsole?

The shoe utilizes Helion superfoam for a balance of cushioning and energy return.

Is this shoe good for rainy weather?

It is equipped with a water-repellent upper, making it suitable for light rain, but it is not a fully waterproof shoe.

What does the Speedboard do?

The Speedboard is an integrated plate that adds responsiveness and helps propel you forward with every step.

Troubleshooting

Feeling of slippage inside the shoe

Ensure the laces are tightened specifically through the midfoot eyelets to lock the foot in place.

Foam feeling compressed after extensive use

Rotate your trainers with another pair to allow the foam to fully decompress and recover its shape.

Water-repellent performance decreasing

If the surface gets dirty, clean it gently; mud and debris can compromise the water-repellent coating.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your On Cloudswift 4 AD trainers last as long as possible, follow these guidelines:

Sizing: Ensure you are wearing the correct UK size for your foot shape. A snug midfoot lockdown is essential for the Speedboard to function effectively.
Lacing: Use the standard lacing pattern to maintain the intended tension across the instep.
Cleaning: Clean the mesh upper by wiping it with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using abrasive brushes that could damage the water-repellent finish.
Storage: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can degrade the foam properties over time.
