Troubleshooting
Lens is not focusing correctly.
Ensure the lens is set to the correct focus mode (AF or MF) on both the lens and camera body. Clean the lens contacts and try again. Make sure there isn't any obstruction on the focus ring.
Images are not sharp.
Make sure your subject is in focus. Check the aperture setting; wider apertures (lower f-numbers) have a shallower depth of field, so precise focusing is crucial. Ensure your shutter speed is fast enough to prevent blur from camera shake. Try using a tripod.
Autofocus is slow or erratic.
Make sure that the subject has enough contrast for the autofocus system to identify it. Try a different focus mode on the camera (e.g., single-point AF). Clean the lens contacts and ensure your camera firmware is up to date.
Lens is not recognized by the camera.
Ensure the lens is properly mounted on the camera and that the lens contacts are clean. Verify camera firmware is up to date.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Mount the Lens: Align the red dots on the lens and the camera body, and then rotate the lens clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Focus Mode: Set the focus mode on the lens or camera body to either autofocus (AF) or manual focus (MF).
- Aperture: Adjust the aperture using the camera's control dial. F/1.4 will allow the most light in, while higher F-numbers will decrease the light and increase the depth of field.
Compatibility
The lens is designed for Panasonic LUMIX full-frame mirrorless cameras with the L-Mount. Check your camera's specifications to ensure compatibility.
Care
- Cleaning: Use a lens cleaning cloth to gently wipe the front and rear lens elements. Avoid using excessive force.
- Storage: Store the lens in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
- Protection: Use a lens cap when the lens is not in use to protect the front element from scratches and damage.
- Temperature: Avoid extreme temperatures and rapid temperature changes, as this can cause condensation inside the lens.
