FAQs

Are these boots waterproof?

No, they are made of suede, which is naturally water-resistant but not waterproof. We recommend using a water-repellent spray.

How do I switch the laces?

Simply unthread the current laces and pull through the provided tonal flat laces, ensuring they are adjusted for comfort.

Can I remove the footbed?

The footbed is integrated into the EVA cup design for maximum stability and is not intended to be removed.

What is the best way to store them?

Store in a cool, dry place and use a shoe tree or stuffed paper to help maintain their shape.

Will the EVA sole wear down quickly?

The EVA sole is durable for urban walking, but avoid abrasive surfaces to prolong the life of the material.

Troubleshooting

Suede appears matted or shiny

Use a specialized suede brush to gently lift the fibers back into an upright position.

Boots feel slightly tight across the instep

Ensure the laces are fully loosened before entry; suede will naturally stretch and mold to the foot shape with consistent wear.

White flecks from laces rubbing off on suede

Lightly wipe the affected area with a dry cloth and ensure laces are tied securely so they do not drag against the shoe surface.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Exceptionally lightweight construction compared to traditional leather boots
  • Enhanced arch support through the integrated EVA cup footbed
  • Includes two distinct lace styles for customizable aesthetics
  • Classic, timeless silhouette suitable for various outfits

Cons

  • Suede material is sensitive to water and mud
  • Lightweight EVA sole may show wear faster than traditional heavy-duty rubber
  • Not intended for extreme wet-weather hiking or rugged outdoor terrain

Setup, Compatibility & Care

For the best fit, ensure you are wearing the appropriate socks for your environment, as the sizing is standard UK 9.5. To swap the look of the boots, simply thread the provided tonal flat laces through the eyelets, replacing the round flecked style.

Care instructions include:

  1. Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt or surface dust regularly.
  2. Apply a dedicated suede protector spray before first use to create a water-repellent barrier.
  3. If the boots become wet, air dry them naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp or harden the suede.
  4. Use a suede eraser for localized cleaning of stubborn marks.
