Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Air Jordan 1s remain in top condition, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Leather sneakers may feel firm initially; wear them for short durations to allow the material to soften and conform to the foot.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristle brush and a mild cleaning solution specifically formulated for leather to remove surface dust or scuffs. Avoid submerging the shoes in water.
- Storage: Store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the vibrant yellow leather to fade or dry out over time.
- Moisture Control: If the sneakers get wet, stuff them with paper towels to absorb excess moisture and let them air dry naturally. Never use a direct heat source, like a radiator, as this can crack the leather.
