Troubleshooting
Handbow does not fire
Ensure a Petron Sureshot sucker dart is correctly loaded into the firing mechanism. Check that the safety trigger is fully engaged and then released during the firing action.
Sucker darts not sticking to the target
Clean both the tip of the sucker dart and the surface of the target with a damp cloth. Ensure the target surface is smooth and free from dust or grease. Darts may lose some stickiness over time; consider replacing them if excessively worn.
Inaccurate shots
Ensure the user is looking down the front and rear sights correctly. Check that the handbow itself is held steady. For young users, ensure they understand the aiming process.
Parts feel loose
Check that the single fixing screw used during assembly is tightened securely. Ensure no other parts have become dislodged.
