FAQs

Is this sweatshirt suitable for intense workouts?

It is designed primarily for post-workout and casual wear. While breathable, the relaxed fit and open back are not optimized for high-intensity training.

What is the front length of the sweatshirt?

The sweatshirt has a front length of approximately 65cm based on a standard fit.

Can I wear this in the winter?

It works well as a layering piece, but due to the open-back design, it is recommended to wear an extra layer underneath during very cold temperatures.

What material is it made of?

The garment is made from a light and breathable cotton blend.

How should I choose my size?

The sweatshirt features a relaxed fit; we recommend selecting your usual size unless you prefer a more oversized, baggy look.

Troubleshooting

Fabric appearing wrinkled

Lightly steam the garment or tumble dry on a very low heat setting for a few minutes to release wrinkles.

Tie detail becoming loose during movement

Ensure the tie is double-knotted before activity to maintain the desired fit and opening size.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Versatile design suitable for gym-to-street wear
Breathable material provides all-day comfort
Modern open-back tie detail for a unique aesthetic
Thumbholes provide extra coverage and warmth
Flattering relaxed fit that doesn't feel restrictive

Cons

Open-back design may be too breezy for cold outdoor conditions
Requires consideration for layering underneath
Specific care required to maintain cotton fabric quality

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Sweaty Betty sweatshirt retains its shape and soft texture, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle with like colors using mild detergent.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible to prevent the cotton from shrinking and to preserve the integrity of the tie detail.
Storage: Fold the sweatshirt rather than hanging it for extended periods, as the relaxed fabric may stretch on a hanger.
Styling: Pairs exceptionally well with high-waisted leggings or joggers for a complete casual ensemble.
