FAQs

Is this tablecloth machine washable?

It is designed to be wipe-clean. We recommend spot cleaning with a damp cloth rather than machine washing to protect the longevity of the TPU coating.

Does this product contain PVC?

No, the d-c-fix Eco Line is strictly PVC-free, utilizing TPU and polyester instead.

Can I use this tablecloth on an outdoor patio table?

This tablecloth is intended for indoor use. Outdoor conditions may degrade the material over time.

Can I place hot plates directly on the tablecloth?

We recommend using heat-resistant trivets or placemats for hot dishes to prevent potential damage to the TPU coating.

What are the dimensions of this specific model?

This tablecloth measures 140 x 140 cm.

Troubleshooting

Surface feels sticky or dull

Wipe with a cloth dampened with mild soapy water, then dry immediately with a clean, soft cloth.

Light creases from packaging

Lay the tablecloth flat on the table; the creases will typically smooth out naturally within a few days of use. Avoid using a hot iron.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Environmentally friendly PVC-free material
  • Soft textile-like feel compared to standard oilcloths
  • Highly effective water and stain resistance
  • Durable construction suitable for high-traffic dining areas

Cons

  • Not intended for prolonged outdoor exposure
  • Requires careful cleaning to preserve the TPU finish
  • Specific 140 x 140 cm size may not fit oversized dining tables

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your d-c-fix tablecloth stays in top condition, follow these recommendations:

Setup: Simply unfold the tablecloth and drape it over your table. Since it is 140 x 140 cm, it is designed for even coverage on square or appropriately sized round tables.

Compatibility: This product is engineered for indoor use. While it is durable, do not leave it exposed to harsh sunlight or heavy rain outdoors, as the TPU coating is optimized for internal climate conditions.

Care:

  • Always wipe spills immediately using a soft, damp cloth.
  • Use mild soap if necessary, but avoid abrasive cleaning sponges that could scratch the TPU coating.
  • Do not use harsh chemical cleaners, bleach, or high-heat ironing directly on the surface.
